BridgeX Installation

8min

BridgeX is a smart inexpensive converter between the most popular LoRaWAN hardware device's on the market (+300) and ModbusTCP. BridgeX supports a huge collection of sensor's and IO-hardware from worldleading manufacturers. Readymade included decoders that immediately transforms the raw sensor data into valuable business data. The sensorlibrary includes a multitude of standard IoT devices to help you get started with your IoT project in minutes. Easily connect any LoRaWAN device from the included library to any PLC or Scada system in minutes, -no coding required

LARGEST CODEC LIBRARY

Hundreds of IoT device manufacturers have enabled their hardware to be included in the BridgeX decoded sensor catalog. The CODEC library decodes device payloads to easily make them available on or platform or yours.

BridgeX is a device that is configured to cater multiple applications like energy management, water management, temperature monitoring, proptech, asset management, cold chain and more. BridgeX provides a number of competitive advantages for rapid IoT development and deployment. First and foremost, it empowers IoT solution engineers with end-to-end IoT development experience so that they can create fully-featured enterprise-grade IoT applications on a single platform.

BridgeX™ Application Server

BridgeX is a converter device that supports a huge collection of LoRaWAN sensor's and IO-hardware from worldleading manufacturers. Readymade decoders that immediately transforms the raw sensor data into valuable business data. The sensorlibrary includes a multitude of standard IoT devices to help you get started with your IoT project in minutes. Easily connect any sensordevice from the mentioned in the below list and send the data directly to your PLC or SCAD, - no coding required! The most popular off-the-shelf IoT devices are already integrated into the platform, and new IOT devices/sensors are added continuously to our device decoder library. You can create your own JS payload decoder with our webbased application server interface.

Features

Payload encryption / decryption BridgeX™ Application Server handles the encryption and decryption of the application payloads.

Web-interface BridgeX™ Application Server offers a web-interface (built on top of the provided RESTful API). This web-interface can be used to manage gateways, LoRWAN devices, Modbus registers and more. Payloads and device events BridgeX™ Application Server provides different ways of sending and receiving device payloads (e.g. MQTT, HTTP, InfluxDB, ...). Please refer to Sending and receiving for all available integrations. Note: downlink payloads can also be scheduled through the API. Live frame-logging With BridgeX™ Application Server you are able to inspect all raw and encrypted LoraWAN frames per gateway or device. When opening the LoRaWAN frames tab on the gateway or device detail page, you will see all frames passing in Realtime. This will also allow you to inspect the (encrypted) content of each LoRaWAN frame. Live event-logging With BridgeX™ Application Server you are able to inspect all events from the web interface, without the need to use a MQTT client or build an integration. When opening the Live event logs tab on the device detail page, you will see all uplinks, ack, join, and error events in real time. Modbus TCP slave setup and monitoring of device data Search and find the device and sensor and set the appropriate ModbusTCP slave holding register so that the SCADA system and PLC can connect and fetch decoded sensor data. Connectors Description to be done

BACnet Description to be done

KNX Description to be done

OPC UA It's possible to receive MQTT topics from an online broker and convert the data to OPC UA. You can also publish decoded LoRaWAN sensor data onto an online MQTT broker with or without TLS certificate

MQTT It's possible to receive MQTT topics from an online broker and convert the data to Modbus TCP. You can also publish decoded LoRaWAN sensor data onto an online MQTT broker with or without TLS certificate

Node-RED It's possible to run Node-RED inside your BridgeX. Node-RED is a programming tool for wiring together hardware devices, APIs and online services in new and interesting ways. It provides a browser-based editor that makes it easy to wire together flows using the wide range of nodes in the palette that can be deployed to its runtime in a single-click https://nodered.org/

Stresstest of a BridgeX, capable of decoding 1000 Lorawan payloads per minute, that is 16 payloads per second....
